Digital Addiction IRC Rules
BY CONTINUING TO ACCESS THE IRC NETWORK, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY OUR TERMS OF SERVICE OR FACE POSSIBLE PERMANENT REMOVAL FROM THE NETWORK.
1. Respect all users of the IRC network
2. Keep language clean (i.e. swearing)
3. New channels are allowed to be forbidden if found inappropriate
4. We ask that you register your nicknames. This provides you with a way to validate yourself and to make sure your usernames are legit.
5. We request that you have fun!
6. Please do not discriminate based on age, sex, race, sexual orientation, or anything else.
7. Please Remember, Digital Addiction reserves the right to remove any user for any reason at any time.
Additional IRC Terms of Service
1. There are NO botnet or flooding scripts welcome on the IRC network. If you are involved with any malicious scripting or botnet flooding scripts, you will be banned immediately!
2. There will be no illegal files or any copyrighted material distributed on the IRC network through any medium.
You may use the IRC server freely, but if, in the judgment of the Digital-Addiction Administration, your conduct is deemed unlawful, harassing, libelous, privacy invading, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, indecent or otherwise objectionable, Digital Addiction reserves the right to report, ban, or censor any content that it may determine, at its sole discretion, violates these Terms of Service or is otherwise deemed unacceptable. You further agree to idenify and hold harmless the Digital Addiction Administration for damages of any kind from the use of the public chat areas of this IRC, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental,- punitive, and/or consequential damages. If you are unable to follow the above guidelines, you may be banned from the service.
Reports of abuse from another user will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.- Please contact any staff member via the #help channel. As a user, if you choose to ignore our rules, you will be banned from Digital Addiction. If a channel operator or founder breaks the rules or does not- cooperate with Digital Addiction Staff in bringing their rule-breaking users to justice, that user’s channel(s) may be removed, and access to services may be- forbidden. Users should be advised that scripts excessivly advertising themselves in the quit messages and/or GECOS (real name) field may be subjected to exclusion from the network. This will be examined on a case-by-case basis. Please consult the operators in #help for more info.
